Noel Groves

Each of us has a rebel heart hidden within.

Some are better at containing theirs than others. For me,  I keep my rebel heart hidden most of the time. But just when things are getting a little boring, I let it out to dance around...just enough to push boundaries...just enough to breathe and feel unabashedly me

See I’m actually quite a rule follower.

I like to keep the peace. I value others' opinions. I don’t need everyone to think like me. And I love my friends and family somethin’ fierce. I’d drop anything to help those I love. I want to leave anyone I come in contact with better than I found them.

I learned from a young age that I needed my creative moments. My moments, and my outlets to express myself.

I just don’t do boring.

Because I love color.  And coloring outside the lines (just a bit).

I love music. Madonna the most. Because she’s a bit extra, like me.

And I love the unexpected. Those little things that make people laugh at the irony or think why didn’t I think of that?

I just don't do status quo. Boring takes over all on it’s own without anyone telling it to...

When I get dressed in the morning I decide what piece of unexpected I’ll add to my outfit. Because what I choose to wear actually makes me happy and shows anyone I come into contact with a tiny piece of my rebel heart.

My husband is a dentist, and for 10 years I worked in his office, which meant I wore boring scrubs every. single. day. And while they were comfortable, they were definitely not cute or flattering, and they didn’t make me feel confident. I hated wearing them outside of the office.

There’s nothing extra about scrubs. They’re just plain boring and optionless.

It got me thinking about how much what a person puts on each day does for them. A well-appointed outfit boosts confidence and personality and invites productivity and creativity. And from personal experience I know how breaking the expected dress code can improve how you are perceived by others. I mean, who really wants to look like everyone else?

Well not me. I like to stand out.

So I’m on a mission to do just that: break the traditional concept of scrub-wearing. I’m designing scrubs with personality and flattering fits. I’m adding pattern and color and flair.

Our scrubs will make you feel just as good as when you put on your favorite outfit.
